Training is given pride of place at SPL emphasizing on the need to constantly improve the performance levels of employees. The Division is headed by a Medical Doctor ably assisted by a Training Manager who is a qualified Biologist.
Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology could be mentioned as critical areas of training for Medical Marketing. Apart from imparting knowledge on matters concerning medicine and pharmaceuticals, SPL stresses on the need to could decent, honest and responsible individuals. Sales, marketing and other requisite professional skills are boosted on an ongoing basis with active partnerships with international as well as local tie-ups.
The Operations Division has constantly attracted the attention of the Company as a key component within its organizational structure. As the bridge between SPL and its many partners spread across the world in matters relating to imports and logistics, the division is headed by two Senior Managers and looks after the total procurement cycle from placing orders and the timely clearance of cargo upon receipt at the Colombo Sea or Air Ports and its delivery to its final destination, the warehouse complex of the company located in a suburb of Colombo.
